Matthew was one of those people, and because of the amazing things he had ex- perienced in just his first week, he didn't mind staying on. Besides, it s notlike he had any other healing options back home. He did miss his family and friends dearly at times, but he also feltthat he was making progress at John of God's, whereas back home his only option would be hospice care. The hotels in Abadiånia, which are really more like hOStelS, are very lnexpensive and include three home-cooked meals a day.
